I slept 7 hours last night without a potty break. I feel good today, although all my hurts and discomforts are present. I may not be able to overcome them just learn how to live with them, not dominating my days and attention.
I zoomed my three UU churches today. Christmas music was front and center. Quite cheery. My southern Delaware church had a guest speaker, a retired minister, who said dualism in thinking (good, bad things) is dominant in our culture and we must make education more effective to think this through. He had a lot of interesting posts, stretched through history.
I had hoped to watch the Broncos football game with my family, but they were busy helping my daughter-in-law’s father stack wood at threir lake home, in preparation for the winter. Afterwards they were going to a friend’s 50th birthday party.
I took a 30 minute walk to Sand Creek and photographed some mallard ducks paddling gracefully in the creek. Then I watched the Broncos / Chiefs game which, surprisingly, was a contest. But the Chiefs,as expected, did win.
Now it is time for meditation, dinner and TV. I’m always hoping for a good night’s sleep.
