Happy autumnal equinox! It is officially fall!
Slept 10 hours. After shake and exercises, I finished the check-in for my cardiology appointment in 2 days. Then I blogged.
An itch on the back of my knee, where I couldn’t see, kept bothering me. I am paranoid after my tick incident. I asked my neighbor to look and see if there is a black dot. She came over with a flashlight and itch medicine, didn’t see anything. I felt relieved.
Afterwards I walked the neighborhood in a cloudy drizzle. Then lunch and lay-down followed by piano, hip exercises, and meditation. Supper was a hamburger, then news. I found a great documentary on Netflix, ‘Our Oceans’, narrated by Barack O’bama. It is 5 seasons and covers all oceans and the global ocean current, such takes 4 years to cover its total distances.
Slept well. After my shake and exercises, I logged into my Pittsburgh meditation group. So nice to be in touch again. Made me feel better.
Then I rested and drove to my Dermatology doctor to have the cancer cells on my forearm treated. I also planned to have her look at the itchy spot behind my knee. The lidocaine antiseptic is a miracle, so fast. She disturbed the cells and cauterized them 3 times. Even though there was no pain, it was disturbing to small my flesh smoke and burn. The area was wrapped tightly (to prevent bleeding) and had to be undisturbed for 3 days.
I ate 2 Atkins bars on the way home and had my lay-down, too tired to do anything. After news and supper, I continued on ‘Our Oceans’.
Slept 10 hours. After my shake and exercises, worked on printing my November primary ballot and answering political email.
Following lunch and lay-down, I drove to get my echocardiogram taken. No doctor visit— easy — just the technician. On the way home, I bought flounder and crab cakes for my son’s upcoming visit.
I asked my neighbor to help me cover my surgery area so I could shower. She came with a plastic bag and tape (what a great neighbor). It worked perfectly in the shower. After dinner I watched the news and continued with ‘Our Oceans.’
