Slept well and woke up to an inch of snow and freezing temperatures. It was Sunday. I streamed 3 churches. All were good. I had a surprise at my Delaware church. The speaker was a minister from my former church in Salisbury. He is no longer there. He gave an enthusiastic and meaningful sermon. At the end, he dissed the Trump Administration. Everyone clapped.

After that I did my Essentric exercises, easier here because the TV screen is at chair level. Following were boiling eggs, lunch, and lay-down. I called my friend in Pittsburgh. We had a good conversation except she said she was depressed because of how long it takes to get health issues resolved.

Then I walked to the grocery store. On the way back I stopped to get my mail and discovered I didn’t have my keys! Panic! It was Sunday, the apartment office was not open, and I didn’t take my phone. Fortunately I was wearing my smart watch and figured out how to call my son and daughter-in-law. They were nearby playing pickle ball and came and rescued me. But the keys were not in my apartment! The only possibility I could think of is I had dropped them in the store. I called and, miracle of miracles, they were there. I walked over to retrieve them. My family will have a spare key made and we’ll hide it somewhere outside.

After dinner I watched the Oscars (I had seen a few of them on-line), and turned in.

Slept well again. The sky was bluebird blue and temps 17 degrees. After my shake and usual exercises I walked to the gym to do recumbent bike. Unlike Planet Fitness in MD, my heart rate didn’t spike. Must be something about Planet Fitness machines.

When I returned, I had lunch, lay-down, and blogged. I called my former next door Denver neighbor who had moved to Fort Collins to be near her daughter. She is my age, now in independent living. I was happy to hear she likes the change and sounds satisfied.

After dinner (hamburger, asparagus) I watched a 2026 Oscar nominated movie, ‘Song Sung Blue’, about impersonators of past famous singers. It started funny then turned dark. Good.
