Slept late. I was wiped out by my grandson’s birthday celebration. Although it was just a family get together, I find every social interaction makes me quite tired. To prove it, I found I left my keys in the front door. Glad no one was looking.

After my morning shake and exercises, took my blood pressure (normal), cleaned my humidifier, ate lunch, had a lay-down, blogged, and did my hundred e-mails. I walked to see if my mail had come (it hadn’t), did my hip exercises, meditated, ate my leftover salmon and kale. I was blocked up with so much salt the evening before,(pizza) so had to take Milk of Magnesia.

Sunday. Because of time changes, I could stream only 2 services. The Pittsburgh church was having a fire drill, so I switched to Denver. It was given by a Palestinian American. Very good. I was surprised to hear current maps did not list Palestine as a country. Gaza and the West Bank are listed as occupied territories (shameful for Israel).

Afterwards I did Essentric exercises, blogged, researched some things using ChatGPT (really good), checked my ice cube tray which was still just water, had lunch and a lay-down.

Then I walked to my son’s house to visit, play piano, and have dinner. My son was frustrated over a new door lock he installed. It interfered with the storm door. He had to reinstate the old lock, which now seemed to work well.

Dinner was lovely, barbecued salmon and quinoa salad. It was a pleasant conversation. My grandson drove me home. He is such a delight. I watched TV, then fell fast asleep.

Slept well. After my morning routine, I put in a maintenance request online for my fridge. Then I colored my hair and showered. I talked to my neighbor in MD who said the mailman left a note in my mailbox, saying my mail was now being forwarded. I hope so.

At the end of my lay-down, to my surprise, the maintenance man knocked my door. I explained the intermittent working of the fridge. He examined it, stood a while, and said it could be the thermostat switch. He would order a new one. It would be about a week. He asked if I use my ice maker. (I don’t). Later my grandson brought a cooler and ice. Not much in my fridge has to be kept cold or frozen.
